THE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR PREGNANT WOMEN IN DLINGO I PRIMARY HEALTH CENTER YOGYAKARTA

Abstract
Pregnancy and childbirth are natural process for women but not without risk. Risky pregnancies and childbirths have a contribution to the number of Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR). Dlingo Subdistrict is one of the areas in Bantul Regency which still donates IMR cases. Solving these health problems must be carried out comprehensively, synergically and sustainably through the health problem prevention movement by all components of society at all levels. Therefore, the Yogyakarta Special Region Health Office cooperates with STIKes Madani to provide assistance to pregnant women. Through this activity, it is expected that pregnant women can be monitored well, so that mother and infant are healthy and can be born safely. The method in this activity is the In depth Interview for data collection on pregnant women data so that complete data and Focus Group Discussion can be obtained during the delivery of health counseling to the pregnant women class. The provision of comprehensive health education for pregnant women was conducted through the class of pregnant women. 33.4% and 33.4% of pregnant women with risk factor have high risk. Giving motivation, information about pregnancy exercises and pregnancy gymnastics demonstrations in a Pregnancy Class are very necessary for the mothers in an effort to prepare the birth process runs physiologically and takes place quickly.
